VMTurbo Operations Manager 5.2 is now available as Software as a Service deployment through Amazon Web Services (AWS).<\/p>\n

The deployment in the data center takes less than three minutes and you can then start adding targets and getting actions to bring your data center to its desired state.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This allows the administrators to control the on-premises environments using VMTurbo in the cloud<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Get started<\/h2>\n

To get started go to the AWS Marketplace<\/a>, search for VMTurbo and click Continue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Enter your credentials to login AWS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the next page click Accept Terms & Launch with 1 Click<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To establish the connection between AWS and the data center to control, make sure you have a Virtual Private Connection<\/strong> (VPC) and a subnet<\/strong> set up.<\/p>\n

When the AMI EC2 instance is running and passed status check<\/strong> launch Operations Manager by opening a browser and typing the address:<\/p>\n

Default credentials<\/strong> to access Operations Manager are the following:<\/p>\n

User Name: administrator
\nPassword:\u00a0\u00a0 instance ID<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Default login can be changed under the Amin tab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Connect VMTurbo to AWS<\/h2>\n

In order to connect VMTurbo to AWS add the credentials of your AWS user to the VMTurbo target<\/strong> configuration panel. You need the Access Key ID<\/strong> and Secret Access Key<\/strong> for the user.<\/p>\n

Create the keys<\/h4>\n

Navigate to aws.amazon.com\/iam<\/a> and select Manage Users<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Click Create New Users<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

Enter User Name<\/strong> and enable the Generate an access key for each user<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n

The Access Key Id<\/strong> and Secret Access Key<\/strong> for the user have been created.<\/p>\n

Setup VMTurbo<\/h4>\n

Login to the VMTurbo instance and navigate to Admin > Target Configuration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Click Add<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Select AWS<\/strong> option and type the keys previously created. Click save<\/strong> to store the configuration.<\/p>\n

Click Rediscover<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Once in Operations Manager you can start adding<\/strong> hypervisor or cloud management targets.<\/p>\n
