VMTurbo Operations Manager<\/a>\u00a0offline update is a new feature\u00a0introduced with release 5.5 that allows the upgrade of the VA directly from a .zip file<\/strong> downloaded from VMTurbo.<\/p>\n This procedure is useful if your VMTurbo instance is not connected to the Internet and\u00a0the on-line update cannot be performed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Before upgrade, you need to identify if openSuSE (default) or Red Hat<\/strong>\u00a0is the architecture of your VMTurbo Server to download the correct upgrade file.<\/p>\n To identify the distribution and version in use, login in VMTurbo\u00a0and select\u00a0Settings icon > About<\/strong> menu.<\/p>\n From the displayed window you can see both release and architecture<\/strong> of your VMTurbo Server.\u00a0In the example, the installed\u00a0version is 5.5.0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Once you have identified\u00a0the architecture of the VA, proceed with the download of the correct update:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n To perform an offline update, open your preferred browser and type the address:<\/p>\n http:\/\/VMTurbo_IP_address_DNS_name\/update.html<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Enter the admin credentials and click Authenticate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Select Apply Offline Update<\/strong> option\u00a0and click Choose File<\/strong> to browse the\u00a0product update file previously downloaded.<\/p>\n Click Upload<\/strong> to begin the update.<\/p>\n The file is uploaded into the server.<\/p>\n When the file has been uploaded, the upgrade process takes place.\u00a0Don't restart\u00a0the VMTurbo VM if the UI is not responding<\/strong>.<\/p>\n When the update process completes, check the installed version from Settings icon > About<\/strong>.
