From the\u00a0<strong>Inventory<\/strong> menu, select the category and the desired component to analyze (i.e. <em>cluster<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18384 size-large\" title=\"runecastanalysis04\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/runecastanalysis04-600x373.jpg\" alt=\"runecastanalysis04\" width=\"600\" height=\"373\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the right pane, the system displays the issues found related to the selected component. Click on the plus \"<strong>+<\/strong>\" symbol for\u00a0the details. Logs from\u00a0hosts and VMs can be redirected to the VA to be analyzed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>KBs discovered<\/h4>\n<p>Based on a configurable period of time, a notification is displayed if a\u00a0log pattern described in the\u00a0VMware KB articles is found on your logs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18401 size-large\" title=\"runecastanalysis13\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/runecastanalysis13-600x341.jpg\" alt=\"runecastanalysis13\" width=\"600\" height=\"341\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Verbose dashboards<\/h4>\n<p>Common error messages from the logs are tagged by Runecast and represented in a <strong>historical chart<\/strong> ready to be examined.\u00a0Before using this view, you need to <strong>configure the syslog<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Configure the syslog<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you access the <strong>Verbose dashboards<\/strong> and no syslog has been configured yet, you receive a warning message.
