In addition\u00a0<strong>VMware ESX 3.x<\/strong> is no longer supported.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What's new<\/h2>\n<h4>Support for Hyper-V 2016 &amp; Windows\u00a0Server 2016<\/h4>\n<p>Added support for\u00a0Hyper-V\u00a02016 and Hyper-V Cluster 2016 and the software can also be installed on Windows Server\u00a02016. The new\u00a0Hyper-V version allows <strong>faster backups<\/strong> due to the new <strong>Resilient Change Tracking<\/strong> technology that tracks changes\u00a0occurred for incremental backup and replication.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18632 size-full\" title=\"hpevmexplorer62ga02\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/hpevmexplorer62ga02.jpg\" alt=\"hpevmexplorer62ga02\" width=\"508\" height=\"518\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>New cloud backup option: Microsoft Azure<\/h4>\n<p>Microsoft Azure cloud storage can now be configured as a <strong>backup target<\/strong> allowing a\u00a0maximum VM size of\u00a0<strong>195 GB<\/strong> (current Microsoft Azure\u00a0limitation). The configuration is similar to backing up\u00a0VMs on Amazon S3, OpenStack and Rackspace\u00a0environments.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18633 size-large\" title=\"hpevmexplorer62ga03\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/hpevmexplorer62ga03-600x462.jpg\" alt=\"hpevmexplorer62ga03\" width=\"600\" height=\"462\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Remote Desktop Connection from the HPE<\/h4>\n<p>It's now possible to\u00a0download a <strong>Remote Desktop Connection (*.rdp) file<\/strong> directly from\u00a0the User Interface (UI).
