To login into the laptop, Windows can use only the <strong>password stored on the machine<\/strong>\u00a0the user can't remember.<\/p>\n<p>Adaxes solution allows the users to reset the password <strong>without connecting<\/strong> the laptop to the AD. In Active Directory environment the deployment can be easily done <strong>via GPO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-21857 size-full\" title=\"adaxesoffsiteofflinepasswordreset12\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/adaxesoffsiteofflinepasswordreset12.jpg\" alt=\"adaxesoffsiteofflinepasswordreset12\" width=\"499\" height=\"385\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Offline Password Self Service<\/h4>\n<p>When an offsite user forgets the password, the log in to the laptop and the connection to a WiFi network to perform an online password reset can't be done.<\/p>\n<p>Using Adaxes, the user is able to reset the password and gain access to the <strong>offline laptop<\/strong> by <strong>using a phone<\/strong> or <strong>any other device<\/strong> that has <strong>Internet access<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To reset a forgotten password, click on <strong>Reset password<\/strong> link on the Windows logon screen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-21858 size-full\" title=\"adaxesoffsiteofflinepasswordreset13\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/adaxesoffsiteofflinepasswordreset13.jpg\" alt=\"adaxesoffsiteofflinepasswordreset13\" width=\"516\" height=\"396\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The application detects that an Internet connection is not available then switches to <strong>Offline mode<\/strong>.
