Pretty useful feature since you <strong>no longer need to enter the credentials<\/strong> every time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where it was left off for Vembu ImageBackup<\/strong> - If the backup job in ImagBackup is interrupted due to network failure, it will resume from where it was left off.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Virtual hardware selection<\/strong> - Specification of the Virtual Hardware can now be configured during the live recovery like the socket and core counts, memory, hard disk provision type, and network adapter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New API\u2019s to fetch storage details<\/strong>\u00a0- With a new set of APIs, you can now have a detailed report on storage utilization like the size of the VM, storage space utilized by a backup job, compression rate etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick VM Recovery report<\/strong> - Now it\u2019s possible to get a report for Quick VM recovery process with details like VM Name, Recovery point, Start and End time, target hypervisor and the status of the recovery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Improved application-aware for Hyper-V backups<\/strong> \u2013 You can now select which Hyper-V virtual machine needs the Application Aware processing enabled.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-35928 size-large\" title=\"vembu-bdr-suite-40-whats-new-03\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/vembu-bdr-suite-40-whats-new-03-600x421.jpg\" alt=\"vembu-bdr-suite-40-whats-new-03\" width=\"600\" height=\"421\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Abort Offsite Replication<\/strong>\u00a0- A replication job can now be aborted from Vembu OffsiteDR server.<\/p>\n<p><strong>VM disk inclusion<\/strong> - Compared to previous version where after the initial full backup a newly added disk\u00a0is backed up only on the next additional full backup, in version 4.0\u00a0<span class=\"fontstyle0\">the new disk will be backed up along with the <strong>successive incremental<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-35934 size-large\" title=\"vembu-bdr-suite-40-whats-new-04\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/vembu-bdr-suite-40-whats-new-04-600x232.jpg\" alt=\"vembu-bdr-suite-40-whats-new-04\" width=\"600\" height=\"232\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>official release<\/strong> date is still unknown but version 4.0 is expected sometime this month.\u00a0Additional info about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vembu.com\/vembu-bdr-suite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vembu BDR Suite<\/a> can be found at Vembu website.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"signature\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/firma.jpg\" alt=\"signature\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vembu announced the upcoming new Vembu BDR Suite 4.0 with the introduction of new features, such as the extension of the Microsoft Hyper-V support and CheckSum for incremental backups.
