Runecast Analyzer 4.0 analyzes the AWS environment for misconfigurations allowing the administrators to have a <strong>better overview<\/strong> of what's going on in their AWS cloud environments simplifying the overall management.<\/p>\n<p>Along with misconfigurations check, Runecast verify also against <strong>best practices and security PCI-DSS<\/strong>. In terms of security, the software <strong>keeps all sensitive data<\/strong> in your environment since the application runs on-premises only.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-41462 size-large\" title=\"runecast-analyzer-4-0-aws-analysis-02\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/runecast-analyzer-4-0-aws-analysis-02-600x344.jpg\" alt=\"runecast-analyzer-4-0-aws-analysis-02\" width=\"600\" height=\"344\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The new version covers <strong>on-premises VMware<\/strong>, <strong>public cloud AWS<\/strong> as well as <strong>VMware Cloud on AWS<\/strong>.\u00a0Runecast Analyzer automatically provides an analysis of the supported environments <strong>detecting proactively potental issues<\/strong> before they actually occur.\u00a0The following AWS areas are included in the Runecast analysis:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>AWS Identity and Access Management<\/strong> (IAM) - used to manage access to Amazon Web Services and resources securely.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud<\/strong> (EC2) - provides scalable computing capacity in the AWS cloud.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>Amazon Virtual Private Cloud<\/strong> (VPC) - enables you to launch AWS resources into a virtual network that you've defined.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><strong>Amazon Simple Storage Service<\/strong> (S3) - is the <strong>object storage<\/strong> in the cloud you can use to store and retrieve data at any time and from anywhere on the web.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Upgrade to version 4.0<\/h2>\n<p>To manually upgrade Runecast Analyzer, you need to <strong>access the Runecast console<\/strong> from vSphere Client.
