Your PC is more vulnerable to viruses and malware due to:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>No security updates<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>No software updates<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>No tech support<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Microsoft strongly recommends using Windows 10 on a new PC for the latest security features and protection against malicious software.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-41600 size-large\" title=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-02\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-02-600x353.jpg\" alt=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-02\" width=\"600\" height=\"353\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Clicking the <strong>Don't remind me again<\/strong> link in the alert, a <strong>DiscontinueEOS value set to 1<\/strong> is created in the Registry to indicate that the alert should not be shown again.<\/p>\n<p>Since the user will try to contact the IT support as soon as the popup is displayed, to <strong>limit the support calls<\/strong> the popup message can be easily disabled by <strong>setting a key in the Windows Registry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Disable \"Your Windows 7 PC is out of support\" popup<\/h2>\n<p>To avoid <a href=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/en\/windows-7-fatal-error-trying-sysprep-machine\/\">Windows 7<\/a> installations to display the message, you need to set the <strong>DWORD DiscontinueEOS value to 1<\/strong> in the Windows Registry:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\EOSNotify]<br \/>\n\"DiscontinueEOS\"=dword:00000001<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Open the Registry Editor and navigate to <em>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\EOSNotify<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Right click anywhere in the right pane and select <strong>New &gt; DWORD (32-bit) Value<\/strong>\u00a0and name it <strong>DiscontinueEOS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-41606 size-large\" title=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-03\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-03-600x366.jpg\" alt=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-03\" width=\"600\" height=\"366\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Right click the new created DWORD and select <strong>Modify<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-41608 size-full\" title=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-04\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-04.jpg\" alt=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-04\" width=\"567\" height=\"278\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Set <strong>Value data to 1<\/strong> and click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-41610 size-full\" title=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-05\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-05.jpg\" alt=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-05\" width=\"311\" height=\"185\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When the new value has been set, restart the computer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-41612 size-large\" title=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-06\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-06-600x248.jpg\" alt=\"windows-7-disable-pc-is-out-of-support-popup-06\" width=\"600\" height=\"248\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If the <strong>EOSNotify key is not available<\/strong>, right-click the <strong>CurrentVersion<\/strong> key and select <strong>New &gt;
