From your favorite browser type the address <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">https:\/\/portal.azure.com<\/span> and enter the credentials to access.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-42884\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-configure-office-365-backup-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"519\" height=\"455\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Click on <strong>Azure Active Directory<\/strong> icon.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42886\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-configure-office-365-backup-03-600x257.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"257\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Access the <strong>App registrations<\/strong> section and click <strong>+ New registration<\/strong>\u00a0to register a new application.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42888\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-configure-office-365-backup-04-600x392.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"392\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Enter a <strong>Name<\/strong> of the new application and select the <strong>Supported account types<\/strong> based on your environment then click <strong>Register<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42890\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-configure-office-365-backup-05-600x473.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"473\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application (client) ID<\/strong> and <strong>Directory (tenant) ID<\/strong> are generated for the new application. Write down these values since they are required to configure Office 365 backup in Nakivo.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42892\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-configure-office-365-backup-06-600x310.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"310\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Now access the <strong>Certificates &amp; secrets<\/strong> section and click <strong>+ New client secret<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42894\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-configure-office-365-backup-07-600x399.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Enter a <strong>Description<\/strong>, the <strong>Expires<\/strong> value and click <strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42896\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-configure-office-365-backup-08-600x391.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"391\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>The client secret is generated. Write down this value since it is required by Nakivo.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42898\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-configure-office-365-backup-09-600x134.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"134\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Access the <strong>API permissions<\/strong> section and click <strong>+ Add a permission<\/strong>. You need to add the following permissions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mail.ReadWrite<\/li>\n<li>User.Read.All<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Make sure to select <strong>Application permissions<\/strong> type in Microsoft Graph API area then click <strong>Grant admin consent for <em>domain<\/em>.com<\/strong> button to grant selected permissions.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42900\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-configure-office-365-backup-10-600x272.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"272\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Add Office 365 to the Inventory<\/h2>\n<p>In order to configure the Backup Job for Office 365 mailboxes, the <strong>Office 365 tenant<\/strong> must be registered in the Inventory first.<\/p>\n<p>Go to Nakivo's <strong>Inventory<\/strong> page and click <strong>Add New &gt; Microsoft office 365 account<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42902\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-released-office-365-backup-11-600x357.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"357\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Specify the <strong>Display name<\/strong> and enter <strong>Tenant ID<\/strong>, <strong>Azure Client ID<\/strong> and <strong>Azure Client secret<\/strong> previusly noted. Click <strong>Add<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42904\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-released-office-365-backup-12-600x271.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"271\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>If you receive this error, make sure the correct <strong>application permissions<\/strong> have been assigned to the used account.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42906\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-released-office-365-backup-13-600x260.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"260\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Office 365 has been registered successfully.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42908\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-released-office-365-backup-14-600x423.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"423\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Create the Microsoft Office 365 Repository<\/h2>\n<p>Next step is the creation of the repository to store Office 365 data. Go to <strong>Repositories<\/strong>\u00a0tab and click <strong>Add Backup Repository &gt; Create new backup repository<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42910\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/nakivo-9-2-released-office-365-backup-15-600x282.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"282\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Specify a <strong>Name<\/strong> and the <strong>Assigned transporter<\/strong> then select <strong>Microsoft Office 365<\/strong> from the <strong>Type<\/strong> drop-down menu.
