From <strong>Help &gt; About<\/strong> in the Veeam Backup &amp; Replication console you can check the installed version.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-44216 size-full\" title=\"veeam-v10-cumulative-patch-2-released-02\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/veeam-v10-cumulative-patch-2-released-02.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-v10-cumulative-patch-2-released-02\" width=\"450\" height=\"307\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This patch includes all hotfixes from the <a href=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/en\/veeam-v10-cumulative-patch-1-available\/\">Cumulative Patch 1<\/a> and supersedes it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Veeam v10 Cumulative Patch 2<\/h2>\n<p>Cumulative Patch 2 provides the following <strong>new features<\/strong> and <strong>fixes the following errors<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>VMware vSphere 7.0<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>This patch officially add the <strong>full support<\/strong> to VMware vSphere 7.0.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Agent Management<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Retention policy setting<\/strong> for Microsoft Windows machines not respected by Agent backup policies <strong>forcing it to 7<\/strong> regardless of the value specified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Backup Copy<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Failed to process method {Transform.Patch}: There is an item with the specified name and another type<\/em> error may occur due to failed <strong>GFS full backup transform<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Backup from Storage Snapshots<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Cannot retrieve physical extents for connecting iSCSI target IQN {0} on proxy IQN {1}<\/em> error may occur causing the <strong>failure of the backup jobs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Configuration Database<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The SQL Server hosting the configuration database may experience a <strong>high CPU consumption<\/strong> due to the <em>AggregateSqlPointsInfo<\/em> stored procedure during transaction log backup.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>File Level Recovery<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Invalid secondary GPT partition entry array checksum<\/em> error while mounting a restore point with the <strong>dynamic disk<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><em>Invalid secondary GPT header signature<\/em> error while mounting a restore point for <strong>file-level recovery<\/strong> in some environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>NAS Backup<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><i>Access is denied<\/i> error during VSS snapshot creation due to lack of impersonation for SMB file shares.<\/li>\n<li><i>Failed to create a VSS snapshot<\/i> error may occur during the backup of different files shares from the same server or NAS whenever VSS snapshot creation calls overlap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>User Interface<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>While the user interface is open and no jobs are active, a <strong>high CPU consumption<\/strong> in the backup server may occur in large environments.<\/li>\n<li>In environments with large number of sessions, a <strong>high RAM consumption<\/strong> in the backup server may occur by the UI Service process and slow performance of historical sessions.<\/li>\n<li>For Scale-out backup repository with a large number of extents, backup job\u2019s settings takes a <strong>long time to open<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Install the Cumulative Patch 2<\/h2>\n<p>Prior installing the update make sure\u00a0<strong>no jobs are currently running<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Download the Cumulative Patch 2 and run the installer.
