Using a tool like WinSCP <strong>copy the file<\/strong> to the folder <em>\/tmp<\/em> in the appliance.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46658 size-large\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-02\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-02-600x474.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-02\" width=\"600\" height=\"474\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Login to the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure appliance via SSH and <strong>stop the service<\/strong> <em>veeamazurebackup<\/em> by running the following command:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"># sudo systemctl stop veeamazurebackup<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46660 size-large\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-03\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-03-600x38.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-03\" width=\"600\" height=\"38\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Install the package<\/strong> using the command:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"># sudo apt-get install \/tmp\/veeamazurebackup_1.0.0.261_amd64.deb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46662 size-large\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-04\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-04-600x239.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-04\" width=\"600\" height=\"239\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Type <strong>y<\/strong> to continue.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46664 size-large\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-05\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-05-600x100.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-05\" width=\"600\" height=\"100\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After few seconds the patch installation is completed successfully.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46666 size-large\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-06\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-06-600x302.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-06\" width=\"600\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Start the service<\/strong> <em>veeamazurebackup<\/em> with the command:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"># sudo systemctl start veeamazurebackup<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46668 size-large\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-07\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-07-600x31.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-07\" width=\"600\" height=\"31\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now login to Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure to <strong>schedule the job<\/strong>. Enter the correct credentials then click <strong>Log in<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46670 size-full\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-08\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-08.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-08\" width=\"458\" height=\"251\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Specify the desired <strong>schedule<\/strong> and save the configuration.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46672 size-large\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-09\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-09-600x473.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-09\" width=\"600\" height=\"473\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The policy has been scheduled.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46674 size-large\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-10\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-10-600x156.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-10\" width=\"600\" height=\"156\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After applying the patch, the job now <strong>runs on a backup schedule<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46676 size-large\" title=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-11\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-11-600x269.jpg\" alt=\"veeam-backup-azure-fix-schedule-not-working-11\" width=\"600\" height=\"269\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The fix for this issue is quite simple to apply and takes only few minutes. The problem should be fixed in the next <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veeam.com\/backup-azure.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure<\/a> update.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"signature\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/firma.jpg\" alt=\"signature\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When a backup policy is configured in Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure, the job doesn't start automatically on a backup schedule.
