Jobs configured with higher priority are <strong>prioritized by Transporters<\/strong> (data mover) during the backup process.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Job priority feature is available in the <strong>following editions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enterprise<\/li>\n<li>Enterprise Essentials<\/li>\n<li>Enterprise Plus<\/li>\n<li>MSP Enterprise<\/li>\n<li>MSP Enterprise Plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Job priority: how it works<\/h2>\n<p>Because priority levels determine which backup process should be <strong>processed first<\/strong>, this provides a higher protection for <strong>critical workloads and data<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Creation of a high priority Backup Job<\/h4>\n<p>To test the new feature we're going to create two new Backup Jobs assigning different Job Priority Level.<\/p>\n<p>From the <strong>Jobs<\/strong> section, click the <strong>+ symbol<\/strong> and select <strong>VMware vSphere backup job<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57295 size-large\" title=\"nakivo-v10-8-job-priority-02\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/nakivo-v10-8-job-priority-02-600x369.jpg\" alt=\"nakivo-v10-8-job-priority-02\" width=\"600\" height=\"369\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select VMs to backup and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57297 size-large\" title=\"nakivo-v10-8-job-priority-03\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/nakivo-v10-8-job-priority-03-600x311.jpg\" alt=\"nakivo-v10-8-job-priority-03\" width=\"600\" height=\"311\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select the <strong>Destination<\/strong> to store the backup.
