Vembu released the new Vembu BDRSuite<\/a> v5.6 providing new features such as AD integration for Host addition, centralized backup for Mac and many others.<\/p>\n

The new BDRSuite v5.6 introduces improvements to performance and stability<\/strong> as well as some enhancements to the whole software solution.<\/p>\n

Vembu BDRSuite v5.6 is a complete software backup solution to protect virtual, physical, cloud workloads, and SaaS applications.<\/p>\n

The new version provides some new features and enhancements useful to cover modern business requirements<\/strong> in terms of data protection. Additional info can be found in the Release Notes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Active Directory integration for Host addition<\/h4>\n

Windows, Linux or Mac hosts can now be imported from AD\/LDAP servers<\/strong> speeding up the process of adding hosts as data sources<\/strong> for backup.<\/p>\n

To take benefit of this new feature, from Data Sources<\/strong> tab select Add Microsoft Windows<\/strong> (or Add Linux) then click on Add Microsoft Windows<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

Select Import from AD\/LDAP Server<\/strong> option and specify the AD\/LDAP Server<\/strong> to use. Specify the required settings then click Next<\/strong> to continue with the configuration.<\/p>\n

This feature is available for VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Windows (Disk Image) and Files & Folders Backup on Servers and Endpoints<\/a>.<\/p>\n
