Immutability is a technology that protects backups from deletion, modification, and overwriting<\/strong> providing a strong defense line against ransomware attacks.<\/p>\n

Backups stored on supported immutable cloud object storage platforms such as S3 or S3 compatible<\/strong> remain untouchable until the immutability retention expires ensuring better security and a secure restore.<\/p>\n

BDRSuite v7.0.1 provides also the immutability feature for Linux storage<\/strong> to keep backups unaltered when stored on on-prem storage devices adding an extra layer of security<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After introducing the KVM support in BDRSuite v7.0.0<\/a>, the new version extend this capability providing the recovery support for entire virtual machines<\/strong> running on KVM hypervisors.<\/p>\n

This feature allows a quick VMs recovery especially in a disaster recovery scenarios where RTO is essential to limit the service disruption<\/strong> enhancing the business continuity.<\/p>\n

File Level Recovery for KVM, Azure VM and AWS EC2<\/h4>\n

It is now possible to granular restore<\/strong> files and folders from VMs across KVM, Azure VM, and AWS EC2 environments.<\/p>\n

Specific files can be easily retrieved without restoring the entire VM<\/strong> first speeding up the overall process ensuring minimal downtime in case of data loss.<\/p>\n
