The latest Veeam Backup & Replication v12.2<\/a> provides the capability to perform Proxmox VE<\/a> backups for virtual machines running on this platform.<\/p>\n

The provided backup and restore options align with the feature set already available<\/strong> for platforms supported by Veeam.

Add Proxmox to Veeam<\/h2>\n

From Veeam console, access the Backup infrastructure<\/strong> area, right click Manage Servers<\/strong> and select Add server<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Create a Backup Job<\/h2>\n

To test the Proxmox VE backup, you need to create a new Backup Job<\/strong>. Form Home<\/strong> area, right click Backup and select Backup > Virtual machine > Proxmox VE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Enter the Backup Job Name<\/strong> and click Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The backup operation follows the typical Veeam backup procedure.<\/p>\n
