When the VMware Operations Manager<\/em> appliance is corrupted or deleted<\/strong>, the vCenter Operations Manager plugin remains in the vCenter Server showing an error.<\/p>\n To keep the system clean<\/strong> is necessary to remove the extension from the Plug-in Manager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n First step is removing the asset stored in vCenter Server. From vSphere Client<\/strong>, log on to system and go to Home > Licensing<\/strong>. Right click the vCenter Operations Manager\u00a0<\/em>item and select Remove Asset<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n Click Yes<\/strong> to confirm removal.<\/p>\n From your browser, enter the vCenter Server https address<\/strong> and log on the system with an administrative account using the URL:<\/p>\n https:\/\/vcenter_address\/mob<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n From ServiceContent<\/strong> type, click content<\/strong> value.<\/p>\n Click ExtensionManager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Click UnregisterExtension<\/strong>.<\/p>\n To remove the Operations Manager plugin<\/em>, enter in the extensionKey<\/strong> field the string:<\/p>\n com.vmware.vcops<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Then click Invoke Method<\/strong>.<\/p>\n When the removal completes, you receive void<\/strong> as notification result.<\/p>\n Restart vSphere Client and open the vCenter Server Plug-in Manager<\/strong>. The Operations Manager plugin<\/em> should have been removed.<\/p>\n This procedure is good to remove other extensions<\/strong> as well.
