Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to confirm then exit SQL Studio Management.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"vsphere55dsn05\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/vsphere55dsn05.jpg\" alt=\"vsphere55dsn05\" width=\"600\" height=\"539\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Install SQL Native Client in vCenter<\/h4>\n<p>To <strong>link the database<\/strong> created in MS-SQL Server to vCenter, the <strong>SQL Native Client<\/strong> must be <strong>installed in vCenter Server<\/strong>. You can download the <em>SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client<\/em> driver <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/download\/details.aspx?id=16978\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. Select <strong>System DSN<\/strong> and click <strong>Add<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p>From the <strong>Create New Data Source<\/strong> window select <strong>SQL Server Native Client 10.0<\/strong> driver and click <strong>Next<\/strong> to start the configuration.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"vsphere55dsn13\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/vsphere55dsn13.jpg\" alt=\"vsphere55dsn13\" width=\"520\" height=\"451\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Type a <strong>Name<\/strong> and a <strong>Description<\/strong> for your data source. Click the right arrow in the <strong>Server<\/strong> field and select the <strong>SQL instance<\/strong> you want to connect to.
