The answer is the solution. From <strong>vSphere Client<\/strong> launch the VMware Tools installation.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"win2012nic05\" alt=\"win2012nic05\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/win2012nic05.jpg\" width=\"509\" height=\"399\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Selecting the custom setup option, beneath\u00a0<strong>VMware Device Drivers<\/strong> you can find the <strong>NIC type<\/strong> set for the virtual machine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"win2012nic06\" alt=\"win2012nic06\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/win2012nic06.jpg\" width=\"508\" height=\"399\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During the installation the <strong>driver is installed<\/strong> in the system.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"win2012nic07\" alt=\"win2012nic07\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/win2012nic07.jpg\" width=\"509\" height=\"399\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After rebooting the server, everything works as expected and the <strong>NIC driver is now listed<\/strong> in the Network Connections.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"win2012nic08\" alt=\"win2012nic08\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/win2012nic08.jpg\" width=\"555\" height=\"200\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>VMware Tools should be <strong>always installed<\/strong>, not only because best practices strongly recommend it but several issues can be easily fixed in little time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"firma\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/firma.jpg\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the installation of \u00a0Windows Server 2012\u00a0VMXNet3 is not detected by the system while creating a new virtual machine in VMware.
