Open your favorite browser and access vCenter Server using\u00a0<strong>vSphere Web Client<\/strong>. To create the Storage Policy we need to <strong>create a Tag<\/strong>\u00a0by clicking the <strong>New tag<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"vmstoragepolicies06\" alt=\"vmstoragepolicies06\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/vmstoragepolicies06.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"193\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fill the <strong>Name<\/strong> and <strong>Description<\/strong>\u00a0tag fields then create a new category. Fill the requested category details and\u00a0select <strong>Datastore as Associable Object Type<\/strong>. The selected policy is shown in the <strong>VM Storage Policy<\/strong> field.
