Access the Flash Cluster and select the <strong>Summary<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall02\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall02.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall02\" width=\"600\" height=\"507\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When the license expires, the VMs assigned to FVP are shown as <strong>not accelerated<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall03\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall03.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall03\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Accessing the Flash Cluster <strong>Summary<\/strong>, the message confirms the license has expired.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall04\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall04.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall04\" width=\"600\" height=\"219\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Remove Flash Cluster<\/h2>\n<p>First step to perform concerns the Flash Cluster removal. From the FVP Cluster management panel, select <strong>Manage<\/strong> tab and click on <strong>Datastores\/VMs<\/strong>. Select VMs or datastores to remove acceleration then click <strong>Remove<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall05\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall05.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall05\" width=\"600\" height=\"207\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to confirm removal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall06\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall06.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall06\" width=\"305\" height=\"182\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>VMs have been removed from the cluster successfully.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall07\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall07.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall07\" width=\"600\" height=\"226\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now move to <strong>Flash Devices<\/strong> tab and remove Flash Devices from the cluster.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall08\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall08.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall08\" width=\"600\" height=\"238\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to confirm removal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall09\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall09.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall09\" width=\"306\" height=\"184\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Flash Devices have been removed from the cluster.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall10\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall10.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall10\" width=\"600\" height=\"221\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When Datastores\/VMs and Flash Devices have been removed, the Flash Cluster can be removed as well. Select the <strong>cluster to delete<\/strong> then click the delete <strong>X<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall11\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall11.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall11\" width=\"600\" height=\"171\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to proceed with cluster deletion.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall12\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall12.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall12\" width=\"411\" height=\"145\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The cluster has been <strong>removed successfully<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall13\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall13.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall13\" width=\"600\" height=\"164\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Remove Management Server<\/h2>\n<p>Login the vCenter Server and got to <strong>Start &gt; Control Panel &gt; Uninstall a Program<\/strong>.\u00a0Select item\u00a0<strong>PernixData FVP Management Server<\/strong>\u00a0and click\u00a0<strong>Uninstall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall14\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall14.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall14\" width=\"600\" height=\"339\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click <strong>Yes<\/strong> to confirm the removal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall15\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall15.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall15\" width=\"427\" height=\"120\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>PernixData FVP is removed from vCenter Server.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall16\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall16.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall16\" width=\"398\" height=\"147\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Remove UI Plugin Server<\/h2>\n<p>From the client, go to <strong>Start &gt; Control Panel &gt; Uninstall a Program<\/strong>\u00a0and select <strong>PernixData FVP Plugin for vSphere Client<\/strong> and click <strong>Uninstall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall17\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall17.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall17\" width=\"600\" height=\"391\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Remove Host Extension<\/h2>\n<p>To remove PernixData Host Extension from each ESXi, host must be in <strong>Maintenance Mode<\/strong> and accessible via <strong>SSH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall18\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall18.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall18\" width=\"538\" height=\"306\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Using a tool like PuTTY, <strong>SSH into the host<\/strong> and uninstall the Host Extension using the <strong>PernixData script<\/strong>. From the command line type and execute the following command:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000a0;\"># cp \/opt\/pernixdata\/bin\/prnxuninstall.sh \/tmp\/ &amp;&amp; \/tmp\/prnxuninstall.sh<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall19\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall19.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall19\" width=\"600\" height=\"480\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When the Host Extension has been removed, <strong>reboot<\/strong> the ESXi host.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border-width: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall20\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall20.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall20\" width=\"499\" height=\"323\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once rebooted, exit <strong>Maintenance Mode<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"fvpuninstall21\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/fvpuninstall21.jpg\" alt=\"fvpuninstall21\" width=\"499\" height=\"262\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The removal procedure is now complete and PernixData FVP is no longer\u00a0<strong>installed<\/strong>\u00a0in the system. <strong>Repeat same steps <\/strong>for each host with FVP installed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nolabnoparty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/firma.jpg\" alt=\"firma\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once the PernixData FVP tests have been completed or the license expires, the application should be uninstalled to keep the system clean.
