top-vblog-2018-01

Eric Siebert from vSphere-land just opened the voting for the Top vBlog 2018, a yearly contest for voting the top VMware and virtualization blogs.

This event recognizes the hard work bloggers do and the support they give to the community. Also for this year the sponsor of this contest will be Turbonomic, the real-time application performance control system for the software-defined data center.

Last year Nolabnoparty blog was ranked #41 and I hope of course to consolidate this position even if new interesting blogs are present in this contest. If you are a reader of my blog and find my articles useful, I will really appreciate if you can vote for Nolabnoparty.com.

My blog is listed as NoLabNoParty (Paolo Valsecchi) on the vLaunchPad website.

Rules for voting Top vBlog 2018

This year the total points a blog can accumulate follows same rules as the past year.

Three factors determine the total points a blog can accumulate:

  • Number of received votes and ranking
  • Number of post published , more posts have been published in 2017 more point the blog receives
  • Blog design and Google PageSpeed score

In addition new rules have been introduced this year:

  • Up to 12 blogs can be voted ranking them based on your preferences
  • To be eligible for Top vBlog voting, the blog must have at least 10 posts published during 2017
  • This year is also confirmed the voting in special categories to help distinguish certain types of blogs

Before making your vote, consider the most important aspects of the blogs:

  • Quality
  • Style
  • Clearness
  • Frequency

Why voting for this blog

Nolabnoparty.com is a blog mainly focused on explaining procedures and not just reporting news. I'm working hard to make published articles as clear as possible and easy to understand. Procedures are extensively tested and documented in every single step to succeed with the installation.
