The VM continuously boots in safe mode

After rebooting the virtual machine, the domain controller continuously boots in safe mode showing the message:

The system is booting in safe mode - Directory Services Repair

Safe Mode and Repair Mode are the only two options available while pressing F8 during Windows bootup.

Fix

From Start > Run menu launch the msconfig.exe utility.

Go to Boot panel. Note that Safe boot is now checked.

Uncheck Safe boot option then click OK.

Click Restart to reboot the system.

After restarting the virtual machine, Windows boots normally showing the correct login screen.
