VMworld 2019 Europe finished few days ago and this year the number of attendees was incredible, more than 14.000 people.

Announcements at VMworld 2019 Europe
During the VMworld 2019, VMware made some announcements related to acquisitions or upcoming new releases.
- VMware Tanzu - already announced during VMworld 2019 US event, VMware Tanzu is a product oriented for those who want to build, run and manage applications on Kubernetes.
- Project Pacific beta - leveraging VMware vSphere to deploy and manage containers and Kubernetes infrastructure, it is a win-win for both vSphere administrators and application developers alike.
- VMware Cloud on AWS - VMware HCX capabilities have been expanded to include OS-assisted migration. Non-vSphere workloads (OpenStack/KVM, and Microsoft Hyper-V) can be migrated to VMware Cloud on AWS.
- Project Path - previewed at the event, this new technology will help cloud providers and MSPs to adopt new business models expanding the VMware Cloud Provider Program capabilities.
- vCloud Director vRealize Operations new releases - announced the new releases of both vRealize Operations Cloud and VMware Cloud Director. The new releases will offer new features and enhancements.
- Microsoft partnership - the Azure VMware Solutions hybrid-cloud service has been expanded to deliver advanced cloud migration capabilities through VMware Hybrid Cloud Extension application-mobility software.
