With the release of the Update 1, Vembu BDR Suite 4.2.0 provides the full support for the latest VMware vSphere 7 release.
Before upgrading your virtual infrastructure, make sure the backup software in use fully support the new vSphere version in order to keep running workloads protected.
Vembu BDR Suite v4.2.0 Update 1
Update 1 provides the full support for VMware vSphere 7. With BDR Suite backup and replication jobs can now be running also in the latest version of the virtual environment by VMware.
Install Update 1
You can perform a fresh installation of Vembu BDR Backup Server or upgrade from the older version.
A direct upgrade to version 4.2.0.1 can be performed if you run Vembu BDR Suite version 4.0/4.0.1/4.0.2/4.1.0/4.2.0. If you have an older version, check out the Software Update Guide to figure out the correct upgrade path.
