Runecast released Runecast Analyzer 4.2 introducing the analytics for SAP HANA to ensure the optimal configuration for the VMware infrastructure hosting the product.
In addition the new version provides automated checks for compliance with NIST standards for security and privacy controls.
Runecast Analyzer and SAP HANA best practices
Due to configuration and best practices requirements for an optimal configuration to run SAP HANA on VMware platform, Runecast Analyzer provides the automated check to verify if best practices have been followed.
Runecast Analyzer can check if best practices have been applied to virtual machines running SAP HANA and if both VMs and host are properly configured.
Checks for NIST compliance
The new version introduces also the automated checks for compliance with NIST standards for security and privacy controls for government agencies’ virtual networks.
Mainly oriented to US federal agencies to comply with FISMA and other standards, this new capability allows to simplify and save lot of time during the validation process for virtual infrastructures based on NIST standards.
