Nakivo 10.7.2 with VMware vSphere 8 support

nakivo-10-7-2-with-vsphere-support-8-01

Nakivo with its top-rated Nakivo Backup & Replication 10.7.2 backup solution, is the first vendor that provides VMware vSphere 8 support.

Although the new release supports vSphere 8, it can protect workloads in compatibility mode only. It means if a workload is protected in Compatibility Mode, properties introduced in vSphere 8 are skipped during backup, replication, and recovery.

Because vSphere 8 is a quite new product, the general rule of thumb is that you should upgrade your VMware infrastructure if your backup solution fully supports the latest version to avoid backup, replication or restore issues. The suggestion is to wait a little bit before upgrading the production to the new version.
