Support for file shares and network attached storage (NAS) backup
Version 10 will be able to protect SMB (CIFS) and NFS shares with a scalable disk to disk backup with numerous restore options and the support of full versioning.
There is also the option to specify short and long term retention policies with the capability of restoring SMB/NFS files to any target.
Windows and Linux Agents integration

This capability allows the use any storage system including Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier and Microsoft Azure blob storage.
Extended Veeam “Always-On” Availability Platform
The platform delivers new Universal Storage API framework adding IBM, Lenovo and INFINIDAT to Veeam's ecosystem partners which includes HPE, Cisco, NetApp, Dell EMC, Nimble and Exagrid.
