Installed and configured the VMware Horizon 6 components, the connection to View Desktops can be established using the Horizon View clients, HTML and mobile clients.
Same procedure applies to applications using Horizon Clients as well.

Install Horizon client
Copy the program file to the target client and run the installer.
Click Next to start the setup wizard.
Accept the EULA and click Next.
Leave default and click Next.
Enter the default View Connection Server. Click Next to continue.
Set the default behavior options then click Next.
Select the shortcuts to create. Click Next.
Click Install button to begin the installation.
The application is being installed.
When the installation completes, click Finish to exit the wizard.
Click Yes to restart the client to apply changes.
Connect to Applications and View Desktop
Launch Horizon Client. Click on the default Connection Server name (w12r2-horizon01) set during setup or click on New Server button to connect to a different server. Click New Server item.
Type the FQDN of the View Connection Server and click Connect.
The client start connecting the server.
If a Self-Signed SSL certificate has been used, a warning window appears. Click Continue to connect the server.
Type the user credentials and click Login.
The main screen appears. Double click an application name to open the application, for instance Calculator.
The selected application is being opened.
Close the application. Now double click the View Desktop to connect to.
You are connected to the View Desktop. You can work as you normally would.
To disconnect click on the Options button and select Disconnect and Log Off from the drop-down menu.
To disconnect the Horizon View Client, click the Disconnect button then OK to confirm.
Connect to View Desktop using HTML access
Open your favorite browser and insert the address of the View Connection Server. When connected, click VMware Horizon View HTML Access.
Type the user credentials and click Sign In.
The available entitled View Desktops for the user are shown. Click on the desktop to connect to.
You are now connected to the View desktop via HTTPS. You can work as you normally would.
To disconnect click on the arrow to make the View menu visible then click on the username. Select Disconnect from the drop-down menu.
Click Yes to confirm.
Logoff the system or connect to another View Desktop if available.
Connect to View Desktop with mobile
From your tablet or smartphone, launch the View Client and select the default View Connection Server. Click the plus + icon and enter the address to connect to a different server.
Click on Continue button to accept the Self-Signed certificate.
Enter the credentials of the user to login the server then click Connect.
From the list select the View Desktop to open.
The selected Desktop is being loaded.
After few seconds the View Desktop is available in your device.
Disconnect the View Desktop and go back to main screen. In the main screen select an application from the list.
The selected application is being loaded.
After few second the application is available in your device.
Exit the application to return to main screen. To disconnect Horizon View click the disconnect button.
Click Log Out to confirm.
Troubleshooting
While trying to establish a connection to the Horizon Connection Server using a device outside the LAN you receive the error:
Keep waiting or abort?
To fix this error open Horizon View Administrator and navigate to View Configuration > Servers. Select the Horizon Connection Server and click Edit button.
Check if PCoIP Secure Gateway field is enabled and configured with a public IP.
Horizon 6 installation and configuration is complete. You can dive into the system to test different configurations and features available.
