Veeam recently released a new cumulative patch P20230718 for Veeam Backup & Replication v12 that provides some enhancements and fix some known issues.
The patch requires at least Veeam v12 build 12.0.0.1420 running on your server.
Bear in mind that each cumulative patch also includes all fixes from previous cumulative patches.
Patch P20230718 enhancements
The following new enhancements have been included with patch P20230718:
- Google Cloud - added support for the new regions Doha and Turin.
- Tape - the ability to see the content of any tape in the media pool settings has been restored.
- NBD - improved performance of the NBD Transport mode when interacting with hypervisor ESXi 7.0 U2 and later.
- Snapshot-only jobs - a Backup Proxy can now be selected for snapshot-only jobs.
Resolved issues
More than 160 reported issues have been fixed with this patch.

Install patch P20230718
Before proceeding with the patch installation, make sure no jobs are currently running on your backup infrastructure.
From Veeam website, download the patch and run the installer. Click Next to install the patch.
Enable the Update remote components automatically option and click Install.
The patch is being installed on the system.
After a few minutes, the installation process completes successfully. Click Finish to exit the wizard.
After upgrading Veeam Backup & Replication v12, the new build number will be 12.0.0.1420 P20230718.
